Several time ago yepic  update  with the latest released version of y!epic 1.0.55.255 that has made some improvements in  yepic chat client. And of course adding a few features that’s missing in previous versions. Below is the release info I took from yepic forum, and you can read the full release  info on http://forums.yepic.co.uk

• Alias option on the login dialog will pop up an alias selector with your aliases (this is still in development and testing stages however).
• Join Chat from Messenger will pop up the same alias selector.
• Switch Alias while in chat option under the top left Chat menu.
• Typing format sample bug fixed.
• Internal exception handler changed to show you the error butt not tear the application down in self protection mode.
• Mail relabelled to Yahoo! Mail, not unread, as it is now static as of a few versions ago.
• Alert bug patched.
• Auto False Positive detection improved to support a wider variety of possiblities.
• A few less false positives due to internal filter improvements, more coming soon.
• Knock bugs fixed (fingers crossed, unable to recreate but found and fixed some iffy logic).
• Room Entry Message now added to Tools, Preferences, General. You can auto say a single message or a random from a custom listing, by default this will do nothing however.
• The HTTP download support for self updates, smilies (default pack) and extra skins has been repaired to no longer get corrupt file issues (almost certain this is patched but fingers crossed), however you all need to update for this to take effect and you won’t know til you get the packs or the next update.
• Much more coming soon! We have several large additions and modifications in the work including the below voice changes, so keep checking back. They will come out sooner or later.
• Voice Chat improvements (manipulation including anti lag and dominance, v50 support and raw voice) are still coming soon I’m afraid, I know many are eager and the anti lag and dominance compatible with the current v48 used will be released first before the other modifications/support as mentioned before. Time has been short on this, and testing such a thing involves multiple temporary voice server IP bans (only for me, testing it hard by logging in and out alot to make changes) so it has been quite difficult to find time and use it wisely.
